Holly Gash will be performing with her dear friend and pianist extraordinaire, Clipper Erickson on the iVoted Election Day festival! Their portion of the concert will be aired on November 3rd at 3:35 PM, and will feature artists from all over the country, celebrating our right to vote.
Clipper will perform Donald Dumpson’s arrangement of the Malotte “The Lord’s Prayer,” Margaret Bonds’ “Wade in the Water,” Laure Altman’s premiere composition dedicated to George Floyd, and the Beethoven “Waldstein Sonata.” Holly will join him for two spirituals, Burleigh’s “Deep River,” and R. Nathaniel Dett’s setting of “Ride On Jesus.”
Fans can gain access to the show(s) of their choice by RSVP-ing with a selfie at home with their blank mail-in ballot, or a photo from outside of their polling place. Fans who 18 by Election Day can RSVP with a video letting us know what election they’ll be 18 for, and why they’re excited to vote. International fans will have RSVP access per their geo-location.
